Naomi Martisius is a funding machine! She has recently received awards from several sources (National Science Foundation, Wenner-Gren Foundation, Sacramento Archaeological Society, Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the U.S.) totaling $47,372. This funding supports the three main components of her dissertation research: an experimental program, an innovative approach to studying use-wear using qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and artifact analyses in France, Germany, and Russia.
